They enjoy open spaces where they can walk freely, along with trees where they can rest safely at night. Although they spend much time on the ground, they are able to fly short distances when needed.

Peacocks have a varied diet. They eat seeds, fruits, small insects, and tiny reptiles. We often see them searching for food on the ground, using their strong legs to scratch the soil gently.
